Preschool Programs

Holiday Family Event / Thursday, December 6, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

This annual event has something for everyone! Start off the evening learning how to make holiday crafts. We provide the supplies and instructions, you provide the energy and imagination. Then at 7:00 p.m. there will be a performance of “Ebenezer Duke,” an original musical re-telling of “A Christmas Carol” with musician Duke Otherwise. As always, refreshments will be served. Registration is required; pick up your free tickets at the library. All ages welcome!

Toddler Play Group / Tuesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

For ages birth-3 years. Enjoy playtime with special toys, including age-appropriate early literacy toys, and interaction with other toddlers and their caregivers. Meets in the story room. Drop in anytime between 10:00 - 11:00. No registration needed.

  • Every Tuesday through December 18
  • Every Tuesday starting on January 8 through May 28

Preschool Story Time / Thursdays, 11:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Early literacy activities for children ages 3-5 who have not started 5K yet. Includes stories, rhymes, songs, and fun! Please register for this group the first time you attend, then come back whenever you can.

Morning Coffee Break / Fridays, 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Essentially the same program as Preschool Story Time with the addition of refreshments for children and adults. Siblings welcome. Recommended for children ages 3-5 who have not started 5K yet. Please register for this group the first time you attend, then come back whenever you can.

Baby and Me Story Time with Cheri Riehle / Thursdays, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

This story time is designed for children up to three years old with a caregiver. Stories are followed by playtime with special toys related to the theme for the day. Please register for this group.

National Library Week / April 7-13, 2019

Test your observation skills with another "I Spy" display in the library! Then, on Friday, April 12 at 10:30 a.m., join us for a fun musical performance by David Landau (especially recommended for kids ages 3-7).
