Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the Elm Grove Library. We really appreciate your help in making our summer programs run smoothly. This is what we expect from our teen volunteers:

  • Volunteers should be at least 12 years old or in 7th grade

Sleepover at the Library

Wed., July 10, volunteers at 5:45 until about 9:00 p.m. A couple of volunteers will also be needed Thursday morning, July 11, at 10:00-11:00 to return toys. Kids will arrive at 6:30 Wednesday evening with a stuffed toy or doll for a half-hour story time. The toys will then stay at the library overnight for an adventure of their own. Teen volunteers will help during the story time as well as afterward to document with photos each toy’s adventure. This activity involves imagination, creativity, photography, and lots of fun! Well-organized volunteers needed because efficiency is critical in making this event work well.

If you are interested in helping with any of these programs, download an application or pick one up at the Information Desk in the library.
